What is Easy Pass? |

Easy Pass is an Electronic Toll Collection system allowed a driver to pass through a toll booth and pay the toll without stopping the vehicle, opening the window, waiting for queue, and preparing cash. Also, motorists will be convenient and get benefit from the Easy Pass, as it helps release traffic congestion in front of toll plazas and provide more customers' convenience when using tollroad. |

How do I register for using Easy Pass? |

Easy Pass can be registered for using at
1. At every Toll Plaza in the beside building
2. Customer Service Center at Bangkok Expressway Public Company Limited, Asoke – Dindaeng Road
Required document for a registration
1. Copy of identification card or passport
2. Copy of certificate of juristic person (for company or limited partnership)
A payment as follows,
1. Deposit (refundable after cancellation for service)
2. Pre-paid tolls minimum Baht 500 (additional top-up in a step of Baht 500) |

Where can I buy Easy Pass? |
 |
Easy Pass can be purchased at every Toll Plaza in the beside building of Si Rat Expressway (Second Stage Expressway) or Customer Service Center, Asoke – Dindaeng Road.
A registered application form, which can be downloaded at www.becl.co.th, and a copy of identification card or a copy of certificate of juristic person are required for registration.

How do I use Easy Pass? |

Step for using Easy Pass
1. Install an Easy Pass card on the windshield behind the rearview mirror or on the dot matrix area at the top of the windshield
2. Drive through Easy Pass lane using speed lower than 30 km./hour
3. The toll rate charge and the remaining amount will be shown on the toll information board |

Easy Pass can be used on the expressways as follows:
1. Chalerm Mahanakorn Expressway System (First Stage Expressway)
2. Si Rat Expressway System (Second Stage Expressway)
3. Chalong Rat Expressway (Ramindra – At Narong Expressway)
4. Bangpli – Suksawad Expressway (Southern Outer Bangkok Ring Road)
5. Burapha Withi Expressway (Bangna – Chonburi Expressway) (opening in 2011)

Why Easy Pass card needs to fit with its bracket till it sounds "click" before start using? |

How do I refill (or top up) the tolls? |
 |
Simply show a smart card or give the serial numbers of the smart card to the officers at
1. Every Toll Plaza
2. "Cash / Top Up" toll booth (smart card only)
3. Customer Service Center at Bangkok Expressway Public Company Limited
4. Bank counter and ATM machine KTB , SCB , KBANK
The top up money must be at least Baht 500, but not more than Baht 5,000 for each refill |

How do I transfer the ownership of Easy Pass? |

In case that customer requests for transferring the ownership of Easy Pass, customer can contact at Toll Plaza or the Customer Service Center at BECL. The required documents are as follow:
1. Requested form (Click to download)
2. Copies of identification card or passport (for personal ownership) of both transferor and transferee
3. Copies of certificate of corporate registration (for company ownership) of both transferor and transferee
4. Proxy (In case that the owner give a permission to the specify person to make a transaction instead) |

Is there any discount, if using Easy Pass? |
 |
Top up Easy Pass of Baht 500 get Baht 25 starting from March 6, 2011 until any change by EXAT in order to support its top up program via ATM. |

What is the minimum amount of money required in the card value? |
 |
The remaining amount in the card must not be less than the toll charged for using the expressway service. However, the Easy Pass card will alarm in case that the remaining amount is lower than Baht 200. |

How do I check the toll rate charge, transaction and the balance? |

Customer can check the toll rate charge, transaction and the balance at the toll information board at the toll booth after using the service, or EXAT Call Center at tel. 1543, or via website at www.thaieasypass.com |

Does customer receive a tax invoice, if using Easy Pass? |
 |
Every time customer tops up money, the officers will give the tax invoice in full version, if top up at Toll Plaza or the abbreviated version, if top up at toll booths. |

Is the annual payment of Baht 240 for tax invoice? |
 |
Every time customer tops up money, customer will receive a tax invoice at every Easy Pass top-up point without any fee charged. The officers will give the tax invoice in full version, if top up at Toll Controlling Buildings, or the abbreviated version at toll booths.
For the optional annual payment of Baht 240, it is a fee for an Easy Pass usage statement delivering service, which will be sent to the customer via mail every month to check the usage transaction of the card. However, the website, www.thaieasypass.com provides the same information without any fee charged applicable. |

What should I do, if Easy Pass cannot be used? |
 |
At first glace, the installation of Easy Pass card should be checked, as it should be installed on the windshield behind the rearview mirror or on the dot matrix at the top of the windshield. If it is still not worked or the card is broken, customer can contact the officers at Toll Plaza, Customer Service Center, or EXAT Call Center at tel. 1543. |

I have 3 cars at home, can I move my Easy Pass from my car to some other cars? |
 |
Customer can change the car for using the same Easy Pass card by taking the Easy Pass card (not the smart card) to install to the car which the customer want to use at the proper position. |

I bought Easy Pass from Second Stage Expressway, is it compatible with the First Stage Expressway and/or Ramindra – At Narong Expressway? |
 |
Yes, all Easy Pass is compatible with all expressway that have already operated Easy Pass system. |

Why sometimes the barrier is not open? |
 |
The most problem is the Easy Pass card communicates with the antenna imperfectly. Customer should recheck the installation point of Easy Pass whether it installs at the proper position, on the windshield behind the rearview mirror or on the dot matrix at the top of the windshield, and makes sure that the Easy Pass sign faces to the driver. Moreover, some films which have metal component may affect the communication of the system. Please install the Easy Pass card at the dot matrix area (if available) or consult to car film shop to partially remove the film for a system communication. |

What should I do, if a smart card is lost? |
 |
In case that a smart card is lost, customer can submit a request form requesting for a new card at Customer Service Center, Bangkok Expressway Public Company Limited, or at every Toll Controlling Building subjected to a re-issued fee Baht 100. |

Can taxi / public van use Easy Pass? |
 |
Easy Pass is applicable with 4-wheel vehicle, so taxi and public van, in 4-wheel type, can use Easy Pass. |
